Primary Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries for quotes on new manufacturing and repair of tools and material requests.
- Work with Repair and Manufacturing team members for quotes response.
- Deep technical knowledge of machining Turning/ Milling /5 Axis to have open discussions with the operations team on production timing optimization.
- Review customer purchase orders/tool requests and send customer acknowledgement of acceptance.
- Assist in the preparation of offers and tenders studies.
- Review tender scope of work against company capabilities.
- Prepare a list of outsourcing requirements (if applicable).
- Prepare RFQs for material and services and coordinate with Supply Chain departments for offers.
- Prepare offer index & submission requirements in coordination with the proposal coordinator.
- Acquire & review technical submissions from supporting departments.
- Assist in technical offer preparation & ensure all client requirements are included, where applicable.
- Assist in preparing budget comparison sheets for different materials and services.
- Respond to client clarifications during bid evaluation.
- Act as part of the project task force after awarding.
- Assist with planning for materials as per customer needs and communicate to purchasing.
- Discuss customer’s delivery schedules with manufacturing, and respond to customer with expected delivery dates.
- On-site/off-site customer meetings.
- Other responsibilities as defined in the QHSE Management System or direct supervisor.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
